Programming Resources and Games

Cardboard Cognition - A listing of educational games for a variety of subjects

Charge-it Game - You actually would have to purchase this one, but it looks like a good one, considering all the problems college students encounter with credit.

Educational Software on the net - This is a listing of educational software companies...you have to look through it a little, but a lot of them offer demos that could be used for a program.

Free Educational Software - This site has a lot of downloads in many categories that can be used for a program, such as debt inventory for a financial education program, flash cards for a review session, geology clip art for reviews, European history game, etc.

LovingYou.com - Great program ideas, and a list of wacky
dates in the Holidays section

Motivational Quotes - A great part of bulletin boards, flyers, etc.

The Improv Page - Improv games can be used as icebreakers, program activities leading to a discussion, or just for fun.

Progressive Catalog - Great diversity resources

Straitopia (A Simulated Society) - A simulation exercise that deals with the inequalities found in society.

Student Services Resources - This is a listing of resources and sites that can assist you in developing some personal development and academic success programs.  The categories are listed on the first page, and by clicking on the link, it will lead you to a wealth of resources for many categories, including career development, learning styles, references (calculators, English guides, etc.), health, and financial planning.  The site is based out of England, but many of the resources are still applicable.
