Congratulations on your success in the 1999-2000 Resident Assistant selection process. I would like to invite you to participate in the Bender Hall in-hall interview process. Please review the following information carefully in order to decide whether you would like to continue through our process.
All candidates are requested to attend one of the five following two hour and fifteen minute round robin interviews:
1. Sunday February 21, 1999 1:45 - 4:00
p.m.
2. Sunday February 21, 1999 6:45 - 9:00
p.m.
3. Monday February 22, 1999 7:45 - 10:00
p.m.
4. Tuesday February 23, 1999 7:45 -
10:00 p.m.
5. Sunday February 28, 1999 1:45
- 4:00 p.m.
These will consist of four 20 minute interviews with Bender Hall staff members and student leaders. The last phase of our process will consist of an individual interview with Bob Reason (Bender Hall Coordinator).
Currently, we have 4 male and 4 female openings. I hope the interviews enable you to meet the staff you may be working with as well as give us the opportunity to get to know you better. Enclosed with this letter you will find the most recent resident assistant job description for Bender Hall.
Please review sections B. 1-4 and E. 1, because it is slightly different than the other eight UNI residence halls.

Format For Bender In-Hall Process 1999
Sunday February 21, 1999 (2 Sessions).
Monday February 22, 1999 (1 Session).
Tuesday February 23, 1999 (1 Session).
Sunday February 28, 1999 (1 Session).
Candidates selected will be given notice and asked to attend one of five sessions. There will be four candidates going through each session (4 candidates x 5 sessions = 20 candidates). The first session is Sunday February 21, 1999 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The second is Sunday February 21, 1999 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The third is Monday February 22, 1999 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. The fourth is Tuesday February 23, 1999 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. And the fifth is Sunday February 28, 1999 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each interview will consist of four different rooms. Three of these rooms will have two current Bender Hall Resident Assistants and one student leader conducting the interviews. The fourth room will be an interview with Brian Steinberg (BHAHC).

Another student, either a student leader or an RA will escort interviewees between rooms to answer questions and make sure nobody gets lost.
