 First Hall Meetings Info and Agenda

Info:

1. All meetings will take place on Tuesday 9/5 at the following times:      C Wing  10:00pm
B Wing   10:15pm
A Wing  10:30pm

* Times are staggered is so I can stop by all of the meetings to introduce myself to the returning students.

2. You need to post signs by tonight to inform the students of the MANDATORY meeting.
3. This is a great time to have the residents fill out the occupancy verification forms ?
 

Agenda:

1. Introduce yourself and welcome them all to your hall.
2. Responsibilities of RA and office hours.
3. Introductions of all residents
4. Icebreaker of your choice
5. Over view of rules and student code of conduct (alcohol and other drug policy, health & safety violations, guest policy, access cards, propping doors and etc.)
6. Quiet and courtesy hours
7. Quiet lifestyle communities (B Wing) and signing of contracts.
8. Community contracts for all halls
9. Tripling meeting @ 8pm Wednesday 9/6 in O’Neill.
10.  Ask what kind of programs they are interested in and also inform them about major events such as Homecoming, the haunted house, ‘Tis the Season and USB Week.
11.  Tell them about LEG and say that the first meeting will be Tuesday the 12th at 10:00pm in the Main lounge. Election for officers will be held on the 19th during the LEG meeting.
12.  Questions, comments and concerns (Maintenance problems too.)
? Please give me all appropriate work orders for maintenance concerns by wed. 9/6 at noon.
13.  I will be coming at some point to introduce myself and answer questions.
