Lisa -
I am also at a small school (approx 1200 and
147 live on campus) and we do
have an escort system. We have two groups.
One on main campus and the
other at our off campus building downtown
in Oakland (2.6 miles away from
campus)

students to receive escorts?
Students can either call on the escort cell
phone to pick them up or go to
the lobby (in the building of our off campus
site) or the campus cafe (on
campus site).

Residential Life

Two students per shift. Both students
must be present or they cannot
escort and our security takes over.

Monday - Friday 7-12 (on campus) 7-1:30AM
(off campus building) The off
campus hours are dictated by public transportation
hours.

of the time, or do they have

one to walk with)
With the except of no escorts available they
can use it during those hours
and staff/faculty/students can always request
a guard to walk them.
>

done on foot?
We do have a shuttle that goes to our SF campus
but the rest is done on
foot. Our San Francisco campus also
uses a cab service to people cars
from 10 - 11 at night (we have late night
classes that end at 10).
I hope this answers your questions. If
you need more specifics, please
feel free to email me directly.
