EXPLANATION OF BENDER HALL HOUSE OFFICER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

House President
1.  Attend all Bender Hall Senate Meetings.
2.  Help Resident Assistant coordinate house meetings.
3.  Help Resident Assistant create a social, culturally diverse, and educationally exciting house atmosphere.
4.  Organize and present a few house programs.
5.  Meet with the Resident Assistant weekly to discuss important house issues.
6.  Attend 2 mandatory leadership learnshops (one in the Fall and one in the Spring).

House Vice President
1.  Attend all Bender Hall Programming Board Meetings.
2.  Help Resident Assistant fulfill programming requirements set by the Bender Hall Assistant Hall Coordinator.
3.  Organize and present at least one house program.
4.  Help Resident Assistant organize and present a diverse assortment of programs (social, diversity, cultural, community service and educational).
5.  Meet with House President BI-weekly to important house issues. .
6.  Attend 2 mandatory leadership learnshops (one in the Fall and one in the Spring).

House Secretary
1.  Take minutes of each house meeting, and post them in a location in that particular house.
2.  Serve as a representative to the Towers Dinning Center.
3.  Attend Towers Dinning Center dinning club meetings.
4.  Keep a watchful eye on all house signs, keeping them all up to date.
5.  Keep in contact with the Bender Hall (Senate) Secretary
6.  Attend 2 mandatory leadership learnshops (one in the Fall and one in the Spring).

House Treasure
1.  Keep accurate records of all house funds throughout the academic year.
2.  Keep in close contact with Hall Treasure
3.  Maintain an adequate house budget that will not force a house into debt.
4.  Help Resident Assistant purchase programming supplies and any other materials needed for the house.
5.  Attend 2 mandatory leadership learnshops (one in the Fall and one in the Spring).
