About

Tie Dye Party

Description:

This is a program to get everyone together and tie dye some clothing that they are bored of, or old white shirts that are turning yellow.

Instructions/Things Needed:

You will need old buckets for the dye, rubberbands or thin rope, an accessible place that it is okay if a little dye gets on the floor(such as the laundry toom), and of course you will need residents to come!  Get everyone together, if they come in in dribs and drabs that is even better because everyone won't gather over the buckets at the same time.  If you are able to get an expert dyer in for special designs and stuff, that would be good too.  Then get the residents to tie rubberbands around their clothing in any form they want and dip it in the dye any way they want.

Other Considerations:

If you don't want to make too much of a mess, get a large garbage bag and cut it open to lay on the floor under the buckets.
