Description: Pass out applications to be "on the island" of your Residence Hall. Select 2 people to represent each floor from those applications. Every week, at Hall Government, the residents in attendance are able to vote one person off the island via secret ballot. Also, each week there is an immunity challenge with everything from a Twinkie eating contest to whoever brings the most items for a community canned food drive. Whoever wins immunity gets a small prize (soda, candy, etc.) and as people are voted off they receive a prize which gets progressively better every week. The grand prize for the individual in our hall was a DVD player. In addition, the floor that the winner represented received a sub party.

Instructions/Things Needed: Just a great hall and some planners to come up with some original immunity challenges.

Other Considerations: Floors team up in alliances. In our hall, the three girls floors became powers to deal with since they all voted together. The co-ed floors tried their best to bring down large numbers of people to Hall Government. Things to keep in mind: it's all about the hype!! Advertising is key! Hang up pictures of the survivors in front of the main desk and keep the residents informed on who gets voted off.
