Roommate Appreciation Day

Description:

This program is mainly done by the residents.  What I did is have them write a letter or one page on what they appreciated about their roommate.  Then I set up a day and had them all meet in my room.  I provided snacks and drinks.  I gave them the choice of reading their letters or just giving them to their roommates.  Everyone decided to read them aloud to their roommates.  Each resident received a certificate from me (the RA) saying that they were appreciated by their roommate.

Instructions/Things Needed:

Snack and beverages if you want.  Certificates, if you want.  You can do many different things with this program.

Other Considerations:

This program works best with residents who chose to live together.  Not everyone appreciates their roommates, so be careful. :)
