Bowling |
Description: Bringing residents together by
playing bowling in the hallway. Bowling set was a kid's
plastic toy easily found at K-marts. Community
developer.
Instructions_Things_Needed: Prizes if you wish.
Plastic Bowling set. Tape for the starting line.
Other Considerations: Making sure the plastic
pins are set up right so the ball can hit the pins (it's
plastic, doesn't move so fast). Have supervision over
the residents fooling around could result in
damage to hallway (fire sprinklers).

Another submission:
Description: This program works well in
buildings with long narrow hallways. Basicly what
it is is regular bowling in a long hallway. The pins are
smaller and plastic and the balls are also smaller and
made of plastic.
Instructions_Things_Needed: You will need a set
of pins plastic preferable (non-destructive. Balls
usually comes with the set. Line up the pins at
one end of the hall and have students roll the balls at
the pins. Have students in groups or individuals
and keep score. We scored each player on the
number of pins they knocked down on each roll (2 per
round).
Other Considerations: You may keep score as you
please. We also gave out prizes to our winners and
participants.
