Hip Hop Party

Description: Along with my Area Coordinator and two fellow Resident Assistants, we transformed the louge area of our residence hall into a Hip Hop dance club. The idea behind this was to offer an alternative to those students who wanted to go out and dance and have a good time, but not deal with the alcohol and other social issues that go with club districts. We provided pizza (always a big hit).

Lighting Equipment (Student Activites)
Food

Other Considerations: One great idea was to enforce a cover charge of one or two canned good(s), so that you can provide the food to a shelter in your community. Think about when to serve the food, so no one eats and runs!
