Get to know you bulletin board

Name:    Crystal Masters
School:  Appalachian State University
email:   cm26075@appstate.edu

Description:

I made the first bulletin board of the semester by putting up a map and marking the cities where people were from with pins.  Then I made notecards with information about my residents- like their name, what languages they speak, their birthdays, etc.  Everyone liked seeing themselves up on the board.

Instructions/Things Needed:

A map, notecards, information about your hall, markers, "flagpins" (which you can make with those pins with round balls at the end + some strips of post-it notes)

Other Considerations:

The pins kept getting moved around, so I wouldn't suggest this with a rowdy hall.  Who knows what they did with all of them?  Also, consider using an enlarged portion of a map (a magnification) if one part of your map will be crowded.
