Drag Queen Pageant

Description: We had each ladies floor sponsor two males from their brother floor.  The ladies were responsible for for dressing their "queen" in casual wear, evening wear, filling out a bio, and helping them perform a talent.  We had Hall Directors and other staff members judge them according to there body language, voice, makeup, talent, and overall bio.  Talents ranges from Skits to Lip sync to Interpretive Dances.  To determine the bio we had applications they had to fill out that asked funny questions like, if they preferred leather or vinyl, occupation, greatest achievements, and what there favorite thing about being a woman was.  The contest was run just a like a beauty pageant and the winners won fun prizes.  The program took a good three weeks to get it all together but the results were great.  We even video taped the program and sold copies of it.  It was tons of fun!

Instructions/Things Needed: You will need to buy prizes for the winners. That's about the only expense.  We gave out applications to each RA and had them get  the ball rolling on their floor.  Gave everyone a week to fill it out and gave them another week to prepare. We also had a sound system for music and microphones. We had and mc that ran the whole thing who did skits while the "ladies" changed.  If you've go guys willing to go a little crazy this is a great program!! Good luck!
