About

Who Stole the Cookie Jar?

Name:    Laura Nimke
School:  University of Illinois at Chicago
email:   lnimke1@uic.edu

Description:

Once a week, the entire building gets together in the apartment of one resident.  That person bakes fresh cookies for the entire building.  It has been a great success and is loved by all.

Instructions/Things Needed:

already made cookie dough, cookie sheets, spatula, hungry stomachs
I passed off the cookie jar, dough, and sheets to whoever was sponsoring the event for the evening.  That person does the baking and the entire building comes to check it out.

Other Considerations:

It is a great way for people to get to know one another, a real community builder.  It is also good for when you have a new person arrive on your floor, because you can assign them the task of hosting the night.  You kill two birds with one stone, they meet new people, and you get your cookies made!
