Description:
This program was thought up in the best way possible - there was a
resident that liked to make bonsai trees. SO, true to RA form,
we basically had him do most of our job for us. ;-) Can't
get ownership any better than that.
Got some Hall Council money; bought some small shrubs; junipers and
the like.
Took the shrubs and the interested residents outside one day, the
"expert" resident gave a brief how-to, and away they went.
Clipping and wiring; you'd be surprised how into it they got.
Guys, no less. ;-) They all spent a while out there, just
chillin' and making their bonsai trees, many of which are still alive
and well in their rooms.
Instructions Things Needed:
-Small shrubs
-Pots (usually come w/shrubs)
-Wire (approx. gauge of that of a metal coathanger)
-Small clippers, to trim shrubs and wire with.
-Water
-Residents
Other Considerations:
Gotten more money to buy more shrubs... more were interested than we
thought.
