Assassins! |
Program: Assassins!
Social
Description:
Need help developing community in your building or complex? This is the program to do it!
Sure the object of the game is to hunt down and "kill" your opponent, but you
have fun and meet people doing it.
This game works best with a large group of people that really don't know one another too
well. You can play Assassins just on your own floor or throughout the whole building.
Instructions/Things Needed:
-Post-it Notes
-Band-Aids
-One or Two Weeks to Play
Assigning Targets. The game is really simple. Take everyone who has signed up, the
"assassins", and place their names around a circle; something like this: Mike to
Sarah to Steve to ... to Mike. This is used to determine "targets". Mike has to
"kill" Sarah; Sarah has to "kill" Steve and so on. The circle should
be kept confidential, and only give out the first and last names of "targets" to
their respective "assassins".
How to Kill. That's what the Post-it notes are for. The "assassin" needs to slap
it onto their "target". It is up to you as to how long the post-it needs to
stick for a kill to be registered.
What are the Band-Aids For? The Band-Aids are used as protection. Everyone who plays
should get one Band-Aid. It helps a lot to write their names on them. If they are attacked
they can use their Band-Aid to avoid "death", but they can only use it once.
Also, once they know who there Assassin is they can feel free to go after them.
My "targets" dead, now what? Once you have "killed" your
"target", you inherit theirs and the circle keeps getting smaller until only one
person is left alive.
Other Considerations:
Be creative! Assassins is a game that is very flexible. I have seen games that use alarm
clock bombs, poison letters, goon squads, and players who barricade themselves in their
rooms for days. Chose a different weapon. You can use water guns, Nerf guns, whatever.
Most importantly, have fun!
