Description:
I designed this program to help the 550+ residents who live in my residence hall. I
contacted the Victim Advocate program that we have on campus to come in and present this
program. She brought the facts about stalkers, rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault. She
brought pamphlets to explain in detail what everything was. She also passed out a survery
to find out how much the residents knew. She then provided them with the facts and
statistics. She really involved the residents by getting to know their names. They felt
that they could openly discuss this important issues with her. So, please contact someone
that can present this information in an interesting way.
Instructions/Things Needed:
A presenter
Flyers throughout campus
Food for after the program
Other Considerations:
Try to do this program in the beginning of the semester so that more people will come. At
the end of the semester, the residents begin to get lazy and will not participate no
matter how hard you try. |
