It's
not easy being green... Or is it? |

Description:
I designed this program after attending a few RA
conferences. I realized that there aren't programs
for students who aren't having sex or who are virgins.
The format of the program--
students enter a room and there are big pieces of paper
with "what do you think about.." comments on
each one. They take a marker and write their
reactions to the thought in the middle of the paper.
samples are
Virginity is...
Virginity does not mean
what do you think about a 13 yr. old virgin? male/female
15 yr old
17 yr old
20 yr old
22 yr old
born again virginity?
technical virginity?
is it just a woman's issue?
just a heterosexual issue?
what is worth waiting for?
and anything other conversation starting thoughts you
have. After people have written their comments,
have them read what everyone else wrote. Then
gather everyone to talk about it.
Your job as the facilitator is not to have an agenda of
your own, but to lead the conversation and keep it
moving.
Instructions/Things Needed:
lots of paper and markers
background music
time
Other Considerations:
who is your audience? only women? women and men?
freshmen or upperclassmen?
Name: Leah
School: Millikin |
