Career Planning

Description:

This program is ideal for upperclassmen, but underclassmen may also attend. Try to get someone from the Career Planning Department to come to your dorm/floor. Have them talk about career planning and how to sell oneself on the market. Ask him to talk about internships, co-ops, part-time and full-time jobs. If you can persuade him before hand to check resumes of students who may already have them, that would be super! Ask him to bring some brochures/handouts for resume bulding and job searching opportunities that the department may be offering. Have students ask questions as well.

Instructions/Things Needed:

Paper and Pencil. Students bringing their resumes may be appropriate as well.

Other Considerations:

Consider having some snacks.
