Description: Inspired by the 2000 premiere
FRIENDS episode, where Monica and Chandler are engaged
and Monica has this HUGE Wedding Mega Book that she has
collected information in for years.
We got together and made Wedding Books. We took
normal 3 ring binders and covered them with stuffing
batting to make them plush and then covered them again
with pretty fabric materials, lace and ribbons.
Then we put pages in the binders of Wedding gowns that
we liked ideas for themes and our colors and EVERYTHING
that we could possibly need should we ever need to get
married. We utilized our Campus Counseling
Personnel and had our favorite counselor hang out
with us to answer any kind of relationship/sex/ type
questions the girl had. We also had a para-professional
Wedding Consultant come to talk about themes, colors,
appropriate seasons with styles etc. We had
munchies and all the supplies
were paid for by our Residence Hall Association.
We began at 7:00 pm and went until the girls needed to
go. Over all the program lasted 2 and 1/2 hours.
Instructions/Things Needed:
3 ring binders
Batting (plush stuffing)
Different types of fabrics:
Satin, chiffon, tulle, lace, ribbon
(A couple yards of each in a variety
of neutral colors)
Hot glue guns and glue
Scissors
Wedding Magazines or Available computer

Other Considerations: Publisize!!!
Emphasize that Men, and women can attend. Couples,
singles, wedding enthusiasts!
