Description:
Two guys from a local apartment agency came and talked to the residents in our building.
They talked about leases/contracts, renter's insurance, zoning laws, and other tips and
information pertaining to finding an apartment or house. A lady from a different apartment
company also came and talked.
Instructions/Things Needed:
We contacted the presenters about a month in advance to make sure someone could do the
presentation. We also provided drinks for all who came.
Other Considerations:
This program will most likely be a success every time. There will always be residents
moving out of the residence halls and need information about finding aparments and/or
houses. Consider doing this program in the spring semester, so the residents could start
looking for the fall. We did it in February. |
