Brainteasers

Brainteasers

I went online and pulled out 15 riddles, some easy, some nearly impossible. Then I posted them all over the floor on a Sunday night. The first resident to turn in all 15 answers by Friday, or the resident with the most correct answers on Friday, got a free pizza (donated after one phone call). I was overwhelmed by the response, and my residents really had fun with a program that dealt with academic issues outside of the classroom.

My idea for program is another brainteasing game. You spell words that don't make sense to the eye, but when you hear them they make sense and they are really really funny. Here is an example "Wil yume airy mee" When you say it out loud it sounds like "Will you marry me?" For advertising you can make up your own word teaser. For example: Command Joy Nussin Lot Suffun--"Come and join us in lots of fun!!" If you don't use it for a program it works well in advertising!!!
