Description:
I am an RA in an all girls dorm. To get a discussion going about first
impressions and how they're not always right, I took polaroid pictures
of the girls' rooms. Then, I anonymously put the pictures to a
panel of five guys who relayed their thoughts about that person based
solely on the appearance of their room. I asked them questions
like, 'what's her major' and 'what things does she like', ect. Then, I
copied the guys' comments on a sheet of paper which I gave to the
girls and then we discussed them. This is a valuable insight into
men/women relations as well as the myth of being able to read a book
by its cover.
Instructions/Things Needed:
a Polaroid or regular camera and some Polaroid film or regular film.
Other Considerations:
It worked great! I would have loved
to do more pictures, though. And,
some pizza for the panel of guys would
have been nice. |
