About

Do it in the sand

Name:    Nicole Ebersole
School:  Southwest Missouri State University
email:   nae468s@mail.smsu.edu

Description:

Do it in the Sand was a program used to promote recycling while having lots of fun. Students put colored sand into glass or plastic bottles to form some sort of sand creation. After the sand was put into the bottles, the students decorated the bottles with fuzzy balls, eye balls, bow ties, legs, and several other things. This really got the creative juices flowing and was a load of fun.

Instructions/Things Needed:

lots of bottles
white fine sand
powered paint
any type of decoration at Micheals such as fuzzy balls, eye balls, bow ties, etc.
hot glue gun
MUSIC

Other Considerations:

fingernail polish remover is good to use for getting the labels off of the bottles. Start collecting bolltes early although it really odes not take that long to do.
