Holidays can provide excellent programming opportunities. Be aware of a few things as you do program around the holidays. Your institution or property may have specific guidelines for the observance of holidays, but here are a few pointers:
- Remember that not everyone celebrates holidays.
- Try not to exclude people by only recognizing major holidays. Being inclusive shouldn't prevent you from observing religious and cultural holidays. Instead, you should make an effort to recognize those who celebrate other religious and cultural holidays as well.
