Return to Sender

Description: The way I did this program was I had residents sign up to be involved first.  Return to Sender is a way for them to send a care package home to their parents, or anyone they see fit.  I baked brownies, cookies, muffins, and the such the whole day before and then the next day the actually program is putting their packages together to send home.  I provided cards and pictures that had been taken throughout the semester to include in the packages.  This was a lot of fun and many of the participants decorated the outside of their boxes.  When the packages were done I took them to the post office and had them sent out.  The parents loved getting these from their kids.

Instructions/Things Needed:
Boxes
Saran wrap/alum foil
cards
markers/crayons...
stuff to send (food goodies, pictures, etc.)
postage

Other Considerations: This is a program you need to know you will have participation in before you can do it.  If not you will end up with a lot of baked goods with no one to send them to.
