If you don't want to use that much color ink, leave the background white and print it on colored paper. The only problem with this is that if your school logo is in color, it may not print well on colored paper.

Alternatives:

• You may wish to place a floor logo on the pennant instead of the school logo/mascot
• If you REALLY want to go crazy, you could include digital pics of the resident on the pennant!
• Instead of a mascot or logo, choose other fun or funky clipart to decorate your pennant. Microsoft.com has a collection of thousands of clipart selections for use with Microsoft applications
