CD Doortags

Description:

This is a great door decoration idea that is fairly inexpensive! Buy some CD labels (this template works with Avery 5820 Labels) and obtain some CDs. Simply adapt the template with different information and backgrounds and you will be set!

Instructions:

Obtain enough CDs for your community (to save money, just have one CD per 2 residents). NOTE: Keep an eye out for specials at office supply stores. Often you can obtain very inexpensive packs of CDRs. You can also use old CDs, or even the free CDs that are sent out by various internet companies.

Purchase labels for the CDs - Again, look around at the office supply stores for these and watch for specials. If you need to go the cheaper route, simply buy puffy paint and do the CDs by hand.

Consider adding clipart to enhance the design! You may want to add your school's logo, or other clipart to liven up these fun door decs.

Download the template and edit - On the template, you'll see two different layouts. To change the background, either insert your own image, or use the built in patterns in Word (click here for screenshots of how to do that in Word: Screenshot 1 | Screenshot 2)
