Description: For the license
plate number we used the person's initials for the first
3 letters and their room number for the last 3. In
between was a cardinal (our school mascot). Then around
the border we had their full name on the top and where
they were from on the bottom (sort of like dealerships
do).

Here is another version of the same
idea:
Description: I'm a female RA on a
coed floor of about 50 residents so i wanted to make
sure my doortags would work well for everybody.
our state has a good KU edition of the government issued
license plates so i created similar ones and
"personalized" each plate for each resident by
putting their names or nicknames where the usual numbers
or letters might go. now they all have
personalized plates - even if they are made out of
paper. this did take some time to complete, but
everybody still has them up and they like them a lot.
Instructions, Things Needed:
a design of a license plate
paper
markers
stickers (maybe)
a little creativity
