Description:

To make residents aware of the importance of recycling for the environment.
Make Easter baskets from old cardboard boxes and used color paper and fill with dyed eggs.
Lead a discussion on recycling while residents make their baskets.

Instructions/Things Needed:

For baskets:
Paper boxes
Used color paper
Scissors
Glue

For Easter eggs:
eggs
egg dyes
bowls for dyes

Other Considerations:

Make a bulletin board with information on recycling tips and interesting facts to stir up interest in the topic before announcing the planned activity.
