About

Pull For Kids' Sake!

Name: Greg Thompson
School: Eastern Illinois University
email: cugt@panther2.pen.eiu.edu

Description:

This program was really good and helped out a worthwhile charity. I sponsored a month long pop tab collection competition between my residence hall and the all female residence hall next to us. We collected nearly five thousand pop tabs that we then gave to Ronald McDonald Charities. The local McDonalds also gave away free drink coupons to all residents of the hall that collected the most. It was a great community service.

Instructions/Things Needed:

Milk jugs or other containers to collect the pop tabs in. I put a milk jug in each bathroom and one in the lobby. You also will need some people to help you collect all the pop tabs.

Other Considerations:

I am going to try and do this campus wide to try and collect a million pop tabs during the year next year.
