Magnetic (Tape) Poetry

Description:

You know how fun it is to play with magnetic poetry, right?  Well, in order to give residents a quick study break, simply type up a bunch of random words (100 or so), cut them out and individually tape them to a bulletin board.  Allow the residents to arrange the words in creative poetry all along the hallway.  If color paper is used, it can bring a vibrant addition to the floor. It really lets residents show off their creative side while spicing up the dull atmosphere of dorm walls.

Instructions/Things Needed:

paper (colored or just plain white)
scissors
masking tape (or tape that will not peel the paint off of the walls)
lotsa creative, fun words

Other Considerations:

It might be helpful to exercise a little caution in deciding the words to be used in the poetry. You'd be amazed how people can contort the simpliest words into not-so-happy or offensive poetry.
