Description:
I made a bulletin board outside the staff office to show
staff support during the current situation. The
background was the US flag and then i added pictures of
different monuments along with its name and state to
corresponding locations on the board (empire state
towards the east side, golden gate bridge towards the
west etc) and added the words 'Hope' near New York in
yellow (color of the sun=hope), 'Unity' near the stars
in blue(flag colors) and 'Strength' towards the bottom
in green (color of the heart in asian healing
techniques). I have included a picture of the end
result.
Instructions,
Things Needed: construction paper, pictures of
different monuments from the internet, alphabet
stencils.
Other
Considerations: I was particular to use black and
white pics, because I wanted a solemn effect and did not
want to take away from the flag. also i did not want
something that would bring back the memories of the
crash so i tried to stay away from the world trade
center, facts about the crash etc as a board and picked
out neutral symbols.
