Don't Be So Square Bulletin Board
Description: This bulletin board originated as an idea of mine to make a snowman bulletin board for January. My problem was the fact that I had no way to cut out big circles for the body of the snowman. That led me to the idea of making a very large and square snowman. I called the bulletin board "Don't Be So Square." The purpose of this passive program was to give my residents more ways to be well-rounded. There was a list of campus activities for residents to look at and get involved in. There was also a list of things that I found on the Internet that every person should do in their lifetime. It was a very interesting board and my residents loved it!
Instructions: 1. Make a square snowman out of construction paper.
2. Post it up on the board.
3. Find different campus activities that your residents can get involved in to become more well rounded.
4. Post the activities up on the board and call the board "Don't Be so Square."
Other Considerations: This was a great bulletin board/passive program. It is very adaptable to any college campus.
