• Native American Heritage Month - Create a bulletin board, or invite panelists to do a program.
• AIDS Awareness Month: Passive or active programming on STDs, or on AIDs awareness.
• Have the guys in your area make dinner for "Men Make Dinner Day" on November 1
• Do an educational program on the Day of the Dead
• Arrange for a trip to the polls on election day
• Have programming on election night
• Do a bulletin board on the history of aviation for "Aviation History Month"
• Leave candy for your residents for national candy day on November 4
• Celebrate "random acts of kindness week" by challenging each of your residents to perform an act of kindness by putting ideas on a bulletin board and leaving space for them to write their own ideas.
• Celebrate "Peanut Butter Lover's Month" or "National Sandwich Day" by having a PB&J sandwich making program in the lobby and delivering the food to a homeless shelter.
• Go to a McDonalds on Fast Food Day with your residents on Nov 16
• Put on an educational program on smoking for the "Great American Smokeout" on Nov 18
• Put on a "game night" with board games for "National Game and Puzzle Week"
• Do an educational program or bulletin board on computer security for Computer Security Day on November 30
