What do you think are some ways to get
started on the right foot in the second semester?

A bit of advice that I think would be helpful for
you to think about at the start of the new semester
is to sit back for a moment and evaluate your floor
from the previous semester. Focus on the positive
things that occured on your floor (i.e. good behavior,
awesome programs, something special that a resident
did for you, etc.) and comment on these during your
first floor meeting. Tell your residents that they
were great last semester (this might not always be
totally true), but again you are thinking of the positive.
I did this last year and I felt that it boosted floor
